In Twilio, create a Programmable Voice SIP Domain for your operator/PBX, or use a voice-enabled Twilio number. A raw operator SIP login cannot connect directly to CatchGrow.
Attach an IP Access Control List for your operator’s public IP or a Credential List. Ask your operator for the supported transport, authentication, caller ID and routing format. Use TLS/SRTP where both sides support it.
Enter your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token, the exact incoming To address from Twilio, a separate human number or SIP endpoint, the starting language and call duration. Save with AI answering disabled first.
Copy Incoming voice webhook into the SIP Domain Voice Configuration Request URL, or into your number’s A call comes in webhook. Choose HTTP POST. Set the status callback URL with initiated, ringing, answered and completed events where available.
Configure the operator or PBX to send inbound calls to your Twilio SIP Domain. The incoming To field must match the destination you saved. Keep the transfer endpoint separate to avoid a forwarding loop.
Add sufficient CatchGrow balance, enable incoming AI calls and call from an outside phone. Test speech, a second question, a request for a human, pressing 0, a busy transfer destination, empty balance and call timeout.
AI handoff uses the administrator’s saved destination. The caller cannot supply a dial target. If the assistant cannot continue or balance is unavailable, the call is routed to that destination. Failed or unanswered transfers end the call and remain visible in call history.
The greeting starts in the selected language; AI replies follow the customer’s conversation language. Calls are transcribed by ElevenLabs and processed by OpenAI. Explain this in your caller notice and privacy policy. Call recording is not enabled by this integration.
OpenAI and ElevenLabs usage is billed to this organization’s CatchGrow balance. Telephone service is billed directly by your Twilio account; reported call prices are informational, not a second balance deduction.
A real test call is required before using this with customers.
